This site was organized and published by the Local Flavours Committee of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve. The Biosphere was designated by UNESCO in November 2002 and covers an area roughly within the Brockville to Westport to Gananoque triangle.

The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve is an incorporated not-for-profit organization with a mandate to preserve our natural, social and economic heritage while promoting a healthier and more sustainable community. It is developing a BUY LOCAL initiative. Local Flavours is just the beginning! Think of us as a Chamber of Sustainability.
